Concussion and other head injuries are a common occurrence, particularly among athletes.  While most people recover from concussion injuries fully in a short period of time, an unlucky few have persisting symptoms, such as headache, vision issues, mental "fogginess",  or a reduced ability to concentrate. Healing takes time, sometimes as much as a year or more, and this can cause real problems for a student trying to maintain good grades and progress toward graduation.

Every person with concussion or other head injury has a different, unique profile of weaknesses and strengths, and understanding the specific needs of the individual is the key to success.
A comprehensive evaluation can support educators, students, and parents in developing an accommodation plan that will ensure success while healing and recovery continue.
COVID-19 Special Information:  Dr. Bryant is again seeing adults, adolescents, and middle school-aged children for in-office assessments.  Testing in person remains the most reliable method of assessment.  Disclosure sessions can occur via Doxy.Me, a secure, HIPAA-compliant online system.  However, at this time, due to waiting area limitations and social distancing requirements, Dr. Bryant is not currently seeing elementary school children aged 10 or under.  As further information becomes available about risk of infection and the course of the disease in Oregon, however, any or all of this may change.  SAFETY FOR ALL IS THE PRIORITY.

Thank you for your patience in this unprecedented time!!  STAY SAFE, STAY WELL!!!
